2016 will probably be the last year there is a cam here - the person who has been the driving force behind the cam is stepping down, so unless someone comes forward to take over the operation of the organization and the funding for the camera, it won't be back next year.

We start the 2016 season with likely sad news - the male from this nest was outfitted with a tracking tag and named Gundersen in spring 2015, and we got to follow him on his journey to his winter home in Venezuela; all was going well until the middle of January, when his transmitter stopped sending updates; there's a chance it failed - but it's much more likely that Gundersen has died.

There was no cam in 2015, and I'm not expecting one for 2016, but will keep this nest on my list in case we do get updates from local observers.
